So, I recently Installed Debian 8. It ran at about 800 Mb Of RAM but after installing metasploit ( with it not running ) My ram Is at 1800 Mb Without even running anything, I’ve check my startup programs with rcconf and didn’t find anything odd… but I did notice that .ruby.bin and postgresql are running taking high resource and after killing the process the RAM will go down about 100 Mb. Is there any way I can control the startup services or make it run smoother?
